This page holds the current immunisation patient group directions (PGDs) authorised by GMHSCP.
Provider organisations, health professionals and immunisation practitioners should check they are working to the current PGD versions and only work to documents authorised in accordance with HMR 2012 schedule 16 part 2.
Individual practitioners must be authorised by name, under the current version of the PGD before working according to it.
These PGDs should be used with reference to the Green Book, and summary of product characteristics for the vaccine.

- Haemophilus influenzae type b and meningococcal C conjugate vaccine (Hib/MenC) PGD – The Hib/MenC Risk Groups PGD (Gateway number: 2018514) was withdrawn from 1 August 2020 when the Hib/MenC PGD v04.00 (Gateway number: GW-1351) came into effect. Immunisation Against Infectious Diseases ‘The Green Book’ no longer indicates additional Hib/MenC vaccination in accordance with the Hib/MenC Risk Groups PGD.
